Some of the best Afghani food i have had. The lamb kabab and qabuli rice were excellent. They offered us some saffron tea at the end, really completed the meal.
This place is legendary. A Carmichael hidden gem. Likely the best middle eastern food I’ve ever had which is saying a lot in this area of Sacramento. They could use some tips on decor but the food is incredible and all the staff are lovely people.
Royal Cuisine Restaurant is one of the best dining spots in the Manzanita area. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, with generous portions and authentic taste. The restaurant is clean and welcoming, and the staff are friendly, respectful, and attentive. Service is fast, prices are fair, and the overall experience is excellent every time. I highly recommend Royal Cuisine to anyone looking for delicious food and great service in Sacramento.
The food is very tasty, for $25 I ate a lot, the povani are the best, the lamb is very tender. As a gift they brought us tea and candies. It is worth a visit

The restaurant is very basic from the inside but the food quality is top notch! Everything tasted phenomenal. Chicken kabobs were tender and flavorful and chapli was nicely cooked. Meal included bowl of soup and bread. Portion size is pretty decent. Waiter also served us tea free of charge. Would recommend 10/10 for taste and hospitality.
Awesome food!! 10/10!! The owner and staff are very nice and friendly and welcoming, the wait time is never too long, the food is always fresh. Lots of flavor and taste in the food, consistently fresh and good quality. They have a buffet next door that starts at 6 pm daily.
The food here is quite good. I had the chicken kabob meal with ‘plain’ rice. The rice had saffron and tasty little spice seeds so it wasn’t plain at all! The chicken had interesting spices but they were drowned out by excessive salt. It would have been yummier and fresher tasting with 15% less salt (or 25% less to my taste). There was also a small bowl of beans also delicately flavored. Did I detect a hint of cinnamon? The meal also came with bread and a chopped salad that maybe just had salt water on it? All together it was a great meal and with my $2 soda came to $20 and I have enough leftover for a second meal. This is the best food for the least money I have had in a while. I definitely recommend giving this place a try. One note: they don’t offer the chance to tip using your card, so bring cash for the tip jar by the register!
